Singapore, November 15 - The #DataccioConnect
Conference took place at the SP Jain School of Global Management in Singapore on November 15th and boasted an array of speakers that ranged from industry stalwarts to startups. The event kicked off with an impressive keynote by Mr. Deven Chhaya of Accenture Digital and what followed were insightful presentations by Lukasz Luwanski of DNV GL with the future of class, Duane Hand of Speedcast spoke about the future of satcoms, Mr. Bireshwar Kumar of GNS, Ms. Sangeetha Phalgunan of Jiffy RPA and Mr. Akash Lobo of ShipMoney were other speakers in the session. This culminated in an insightful panel discussion about the direction the industry is headed in and perspectives from the experts.
The afternoon session commenced with an address by Ms. Jean Chen of AXS Marine about techversity (technology driven diversity). It then flowed into technology for last mile with presentations from Mr. Ken Soh of Athena Dynamics, Mr. Ashutosh Chouksey, of Saara Inc., Mr. Freddy Ingemann of Moscord and Mr. Nicolas Ang of F-Drones.
The final session entitled the "technovesting paradox", had interesting presentations from Mr. Surendra Lingareddy of Volteo, Mr. Inder Mukhopadyay of Enermo Technology and Mr. Martin Nielsen of C-Log.
The session ended with a very engaging panel discussion moderated by Mr. Ronny Waage of Heron Advisory and brought about opinions and viewpoints from investors and startups about the acceptance of new technology in the sector.
